Unscrupulous attorneys need to be policed, a Washington Examiner Editorial observes. Examples include the recent Garlock Sealing Technologies case in which plaintiffs' lawyers were caught manipulating evidence in asbestos claims, as well as former New York State Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver's quid pro quo agreement with an asbestos researcher that involved state grants and kickbacks.
